Chalky Paint Layered Mini Crate

Layer three Americana Decor® Chalky Finish colors for a subtle, yet striking, room accessory.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- sandpaper
- petroleum jelly
- 1" flat brush
- clean cloth
- wooden mini crate
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Using a 1" flat brush, basecoat the crate with Timeless. Once dry, apply petroleum jelly with your finger to areas in which you'd like this paint color to show through.
- Using a 1" flat brush, lightly brush on Serene. Once dry, use a clean cloth to wipe off areas with petroleum jelly, allowing the previous color, Timeless, to show through.
- Using a 1" flat brush, lightly brush on Treasure. Once dry, apply petroleum jelly with your finger to areas in which you'd like the previous colors, Timeless and Serene, to show through.
- Using a clean dry cloth, wipe one final time, exposing the previous layers of color. Finish blending by lightly sanding.
