NOTES: Protect the work surface with parchment paper.
Let paint dry fully before applying additional coats of paint as needed to achieve desired coverage.
Paint one side of the leaf at a time. Leave paint to dry before turning over and painting the back side.
Gather the supplies.
Remove individual clusters of faux leaves from the garland for painting.
Divide the faux leaves evenly into three groups: one to be painted in Ivory Pearl; another in Rose Gold and the last in Champagne.
Place one grouping of faux leaves down on a flat surface. While holding the leaf down with one hand, paint the surface in Rose Gold. Let dry.
Turn over and paint the back side of the leaves as well. Repeat with an additional coat of paint for more intense color.
Paint the other grouping of faux leaves in Ivory Pearl.
Paint the third grouping of faux leaves in Champagne.
Continue until all the faux leaves are painted on both sides and the desired coverage is achieved.
Cut floral wire into several pieces measuring 3” long.
Place the grapevine wreath on a flat surface. Gather one cluster of Champagne painted leaves at the top and secure with floral wire.
Secure another Champagne cluster at the bottom and two more on the sides.
Secure a cluster of Rose Gold painted leaves and Ivory Gold painted leaves beside the other leaves.
Continue securing the faux leaves with floral wire to the grapevine wreath until the wreath is fully covered.
