Gather all of your supplies, such as a raw piece of furniture, paint brushes, and your favorite paint colors.
Paint the top of the table in Charcoal stain. Using a rag, wipe away any excess stain.
With a large waxing brush, paint the bottom of the table in Pewter using Circular motions. Be careful not to touch the stained portion; if you do, be sure to wipe it away quickly.
