SUPPLIES

• sandpaper
• flat brush
• painter's tape
• cosmetic sponge
• stencil of your choice
• drawer knobs
• wooden cabinet

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Find old piece at a thrift store or yard sale. Lightly sand the surface and remove any hardware or knobs. Wipe the surface clean of any sanding dust.

2. Apply one to two coats of paint using a large flat brush and long, smooth brushstrokes.

3. Choose the stencil design. Apply by lightly dabbing brush into a contrasting metallic cover (silver is used here) and apply over stencil. If needed, hold the stencil in place with painter's tape.

4. Paint the inside of the table in silver. Reattach desired hardware.
