    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Allow paint to dry fully before continuing to the next step. Lightly sand wooden surfaces with 80 grit sandpaper before starting.

    1. Unpackage all supplies. Remove hanging hardware from the solid wooden angel wings and the pallet signs, set aside for later.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Whitewash the pallet signs with the White Wash color of paint mixed with water. I used half water, half paint.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Paint the solid wooden wings with the white paint. Let dry.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Paint a second coat on the solid wooden wings with the Natural Buff paint.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Paint the lace cut out wings with the Metallic Gold paint. Use a small brush and just paint the top surface of the wings, not the sides. Let dry, then repeat with a second coat.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Dry brush the solid wooden wings with the metallic gold paint. Start at the top and stroke down to the bottom of the wings for a feathered appearance. Do not cover the entire surface, let some of the pink color underneath show through. Let dry.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Assemble the wings by reattaching the hanging hardware to the back of the pallet signs so they hang in a vertical position. Glue the solid wings in place on the front of the sign with the Tacky Glue, then glue the lacey cut out wings on top. Add the metal brackets to the front of the pallet signs as shown in photo. Let dry overnight with heavy books on top to help adhesion. Hang on the wall with a metal heart in-between the two wing signs. Enjoy!
