Show off your love for travel with a simple globe encircled with Americana Decor® Matte Metallics™ .

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • sandpaper
    • chalk pencil
    • globe
    • paintbrushes

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Apply a coat of Wood Reclaim to the entire globe and sand down to a smooth finish. (This may take several coats. The goal is to completely smooth out the surface so the vertical lines running down the globe are non-existent.)

    3. Dis-assemble the globe. Paint the entire frame in Serene.

    5. Paint the globe in French Mauve.

    7. Paint the hardware for the globe in Serene, omitting the rod that runs through the globe.

    9. Paint the globe in Rose Gold.

    11. With a chalk pencil, free-hand the word "Wander" with an arrow running through it. (See photo.) Paint it in with Pewter.
