Corrugated Metal "Home" Sign

  • White Wash (DAO2)

Other supplies

  • flat brush
  • painter's tape
  • staple gun
  • hot glue gun
  • wooden letters (H, M, E)
  • wooden board
  • wreath (coordinating size of letters)
  • corrugated metal
  • hanger
  • measuring tape


  1. Cut the corrugated metal to size. (This will vary depending on the size of the letters you choose.) Cut the wooden boards for the frame to fit outside of the metal.

  2. Cut triangles for the corners of the sign. Set the metal on top of the frame, then set the triangle corner in place. Use a staple gun to put the wooden pieces in place.

  3. Use painter's tape to mask off the edges of the metal.

  4. Paint the outside of the frame in white with a flat brush.
    Step 3 Example
  5. Use hot glue to attach the letters to the corrugated metal. Set the glue to the hottest setting, as the glue will set fast once it touches the metal.

  6. Attach hanging material to the back of the sign.
