Mix Quinacridone Magenta and Diarylide Yellow separately with Titanium White to make a pastel version of each. Use these colors to make a quick wash over the entire background, blending the two in areas to make a peachy color. Cut two similar shapes out of decorative paper, mimicking the sleeves and collar of a shirt and apply to the bottom of the canvas with Paper Decou-Page. (See photo.)
Mix Titanium White with both Quinacridone Violet and Cobalt Turquoise Hue to make slightly pastel versions of each. Paint the stamp in various spots with these mixes. Apply the stamp to the area between the decorative paper and in an oval shape above that area, mimicking a head and torso shape. (Protect the area around it with extra paper.) Mix Cobalt Teal Hue with Clear Modeling Paste and apply the Brocade and Berry Borders stencil to the same area with a palette knife.
Mix Quinacridone Magenta and Quinacridone Violet with a touch of Titanium White and use to paint loose swirls and swipes around the head shape, mimicking hair: Start with Quinacridone Magenta, layering Quinacridone Violet over it and then going back to add detail with Quinacridone Magenta. Water down Green Gold and apply splatters of the mix around the figure. (Cover the image with a piece of paper or your hand to keep splatters only in the area surrounding the figure.)
