This is a fun project using no patterns. Just tape off shapes. Basecoat and then add circles, squares, grids, etc. as desired.

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Tape off the bottom and top rims of the planter and then various sizes of triangles and stripes.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the open areas in colors of your choice. Remove all tape except the bottom and top rims.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Use a pencil to make various shapes in the painted areas. Use found objects like plastic jar lids for circles; cardstock as a straight edge to make triangles, grid lines, etc.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Use a paintbrush of choice to paint the drawn shapes using the same colors.
    8. Instruction #4
