Crate and Mason Jar Storage

Store in vintage style with a trio of ordinary canning jars gathered in a wooden crate.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- sandpaper
- lint-free cloth
- white cloth
- 2" chip brush
- paraffin
- wooden CD crate
- Mason jars
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
Bake the jars according to the directions for a dishwasher-safe finish.
- Remove lids from the jars; clean with rubbing alcohol and paper towels.
- Load 2” chip brush with Vintage. Apply thin coat all over first jar.
- Use the same brush and load with Serene. Apply thin coat all over second jar.
- Use the same brush and load with Primitive. Apply thin coat all over third jar.
- Basecoat the crate with Relic using 2" chip brush.
- Use paraffin to rub over areas where you want Relic to show through.
- Use 2” chip brush and lightly load with Everlasting, wiping some off onto paper towel. Lightly pull brush across the crate horizontally and vertically on sides.
- Use sandpaper to sand jars. (Use new piece every time you change colors.) Sand crate.
- Seal by brushing Clear Crème Wax over the crate. Either leave it that way or buff with white, lint-free cloth to give it a smooth, satin sheen.
