Festive Mardi Gras Crowned Mask

Celebrate Mardi Gras in NOLA style with this colorful, glittery, mask with a crown.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- #10 flat brush
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- #6 round brush
- mask with crown
- rhinestones (stick on and non)
- feathers/boas
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a #10 flat brush to paint the mask and three jewels (every other one) Dioxazine Purple.
- Use a #10 flat brush to paint the middle portion of the hat Turquoise Blue.
- Use a #3 round brush with Bright Yellow for the crown points, swipes above the eyes, and long triangles around the nose.
- Use a #3 round brush with Bluegrass Green for the remaining two jewels, line above the Bright Yellow outline, and in between the Bright Yellow nose lines.
- With the same brush, paint under the eyelashes, the fur on the crown, and the handle Lamp Black.
- Use a #3 round brush to add more Galaxy Blue Craft Twinkles around the cutout diamond and to add curved lines in the hat.
- Add Craft Twinkles, using a #3 round brush as follows: to Turquoise Blue areas, Galaxy Blue; Lamp Black areas, Black; Bluegrass Green areas, Christmas Green; and Bright Yellow areas, Gold.
- Add stick-on rhinestones under the eyelashes, at eye points, and around the cutout diamond.
- Use hot glue to add a rhinestone triangle to the nose and circles to the jewels.
- Glue feathers to the back side of mask on the handle side.
