SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • 9" x 12" basswood canvas
    • paintbrushes
    • clean rag

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Paint the three canvases in Snow White. Allow to dry and re-apply a second coat of paint.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint a canvas with a layer of Matte Medium and allow to dry thoroughly.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Once the Medium is completely dry, paint the surface with True Blue, Tropical Blue, and Snow White, quickly to keep the paint wet. (See photo.)
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Flick water onto the canvas with a paintbrush or fingers while the paint is still wet. Allow the canvas to sit a minute or two. Blot the water off with a rag, being careful not to wipe.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Repeat the steps for the two other canvases.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Using a paintbrush, dab Snow-Tex around the bottom edges of the canvas to make it look like snow is gathering around the bottom edges. Using the provided pattern, use Snow-Tex to paint one snowflake in the center of each canvas. (Three different snowflake patterns are provided.)
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Use Snow White to paint smaller snowflakes around the bigger snowflakes. (See picture for placement.) Allow to thoroughly dry. Place on a wall or over a mantle for a wintry scene.
    14. Instruction #7
