Organize a dorm room or office with a magnetic bulletin board in a chic print.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• paper towels
• sandpaper
• ruler
• screwdriver
• Contac® paper
• 1" foam brush
• craft knife
• old credit card
• magnetic board

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Remove all additional embellishments or debris from the board. (This one had some paper tape that once formed a calendar.)

2. Remove the magnetic portion of the board from the wooden frame. (Take note if there were any special tricks to popping the board out; this will help when putting it back in later.)

3. Apply the patterned Contac Paper to the magnetic surface. Remove any bubbles or wrinkles with an old credit card. Trim to fit surface.

4. On the wooden frame, sand off the previous color (or at least make it smooth) to prepare for new layer of paint.

5. Using a foam brush to paint the frame in Inheritance. Let dry. Once dry, lightly sand to desired level of distressing.

6. If this will be in a high-traffic area, apply Ultra-Matte Varnish for added durability. Let dry. Re-assemble.
