canvas tote bag (large to medium; color of choice)
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.
Use a pen and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the entire heart pattern to the tote bag.
Use a #10 flat brush and Lipstick to fill in the entire heart. Rinse brush.
Use a #10 flat brush and Almond to fill in the entire scroll. Rinse brush.
Use a #2 round brush and Pink Cadillac to fill in the roses following the contour of each petal. Using the same brush, add a very small amount of Lipstick to Pink Cadillac and use the mix to shade roses. Rinse brush.
Use a #2 round brush and Black Tie to fill in the rays behind the heart. Rinse brush.
Use a #10 flat brush and Dark Scarlet to shade the heart. Rinse brush. With the same brush, mix a small amount of water with Black Tie and shade around the whole heart, a little bit of the banner, and under the banner. Rinse brush.
Place the DecoArt Personally Yours Urban Ink Shadow Stencil in the scroll. (You can use painter's tape to hold or just hold in place with your fingers.) Load a cosmetic sponge with Black Tie and lightly pounce the word "Love" on the top scroll and "Stinks" on the bottom scroll. Wash the stencils.
Use a #2 round brush and Black Tie to outline everything. Rinse brush.
