Using a 3/4" flat brush, loosely paint the journal cover in Primary Magenta, Pyrrole Red, and Titanium White. (Add water for a watercolor look and do not rinse brush between colors.)
Use a pencil to loosely draw a heart on scrapbook paper and tear. Use a 3/4" flat brush to adhere the heart to the journal cover with Matte Medium. (Refer to photo for placement.)
Use a cosmetic sponge to stencil the words "LOVE" and "NOTES" on scrapbook paper with the Americana Distressed Alpha Stencil and Dark Grey Value 3. Tear out the words. Use a 3/4" flat brush and Matte Medium to adhere the words to the journal cover. (Refer to photo for placement.)
