Living Doll Candy Dish Centerpiece

Turn a candy dish into a "living" doll for an eye-catching Halloween table accent.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • paper towels
    • rubbing alcohol
    • tape
    • liner brush
    • 1/2" flat brush
    • cosmetic sponge
    • small round brush
    • ribbon
    • glass candy dish
    • black fabric rose

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Clean the candy dish with rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Let dry completely.
    2. Print out the pattern and tape it to the inside of the dish.
    3. Using a 1/2" flat brush, paint the face with two coats of Vanilla Shake.
    4. Using a 1/2" flat brush, paint the hair with Black Tie. Let dry and dab on a second coat with a cosmetic sponge.
    5. Using a small round brush, paint the cheeks Pink Cadillac.
    6. Using a small round brush, paint the eyes with Leprechaun. Highlight with Chartreuse. Dot the middle of the eye with Black Tie and add a highlight dot of White Birch.
    7. Using a small round brush, add eye shadow of Lavender Fields on top of the eye and Iris on the bottom.
    8. Using a liner brush, add eyeliner and lashes with Black Tie.
    9. Using a small round brush, add vertical lines to the bottom portion of the candy dish with White Birch. Let dry and add buttons to the White Birch stripe with a liner brush and Black Tie.
    10. Using a small round brush, add a necklace with Pumpkin Patch.
    11. Allow the piece to air-cure for seven days.
    12. Using a small round brush, add sparkle to the black rose with the Fuchsia Writer.
    13. Attach the rose to the top of the dish with ribbon. (See photo for placement.)
