Little Boy's Sports-Themed Chair

Use Chalky Finish™ paint to create a unique and personalized chair that every boy will love.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- pencil
- painter's tape
- #2 round brush
- wooden chair
- 3/4" flat brush
- #8 flat brush
- 1-1/4" sponge pouncer
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a 3/4” flat brush to basecoat the outer edge of the top of the chair, legs, and sides around the seat in Escape. Rinse brush
- Use a 3/4” flat brush to basecoat the seat in Yesteryear. Rinse brush.
- Use a 3/4” flat brush to paint the inner chair rails in Rustic. Rinse brush.
- Use a pencil to trace and transfer the designs onto the seat and the name (in font of your choice) on the top of the chair backing. (Only do a rough outline of the sports pattern.)
- Use a 3/4” flat brush to basecoat the soccer ball and baseball in Everlasting. Rinse brush. Use a 3/4” flat brush with Heritage to base coat the basketball. Rinse brush. Use a 3/4” flat brush to basecoat the football in Rustic. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
- Use a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the details on the balls.
- Use a #8 flat brush with Carbon to fill in shapes on the soccer ball. Use a #2 round brush with Carbon to paint the line detail. Rinse brushes.
- Use a #8 flat brush with Everlasting to fill in the football detail. Rinse brush.
- Use a #2 round brush with Carbon to add the detail on the basketball. Rinse brush.
- Use a #2 round brush with Romance to add detail on the baseball. Rinse brush.
- Use a #2 round brush with Yesteryear to paint on the name. Rinse brush. Use a #2 round brush with Rustic to add stitching around the letters. Rinse brush.
- Use a pouncer dipped in Escape to add polka dots on the seat around the balls. Wash pouncer.
