Stash laundry room clutter in this bright, convenient pedestal created with Americana Decor® Chalky Finish.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• paper towels
• transfer paper
• painter's tape
• 2" flat brush
• waxing brush
• vinyl
• Silhouette electronic cutting machine
• 1" stencil brush
• primer

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. For the pedestal building instructions, visit [[Ana White's blog|http://www.ana-white.com/2011/01/sausha%E2%80%99s-washerdryer-pedestals]].
2. Once constructed, prime the entire pedestal. Let dry. (This is not required but will help to avoid multiple coats of Chalky Finish.)

3. Paint the pedestal using Refreshing and a 2" flat brush. Let dry. (If needed, apply an additional coat once dry.)

4. Line up the Americana Decor Mod Quatrefoil Stencil using the markings on the stencil.

5. Paint the first portion using a 1" stencil brush in Everlasting.

6. Carefully line up the stencil as you go, allowing the paint to dry between re-positioning, and paint using the stencil brush. Stencil the entire pedestal front and let dry.

7. Once dry, apply Clear Crème Wax to the entire pedestal. Let dry.
8. Move the pedestal into the laundry room.
9. Cut out vinyl for the wording on the front using a Silhouette electronic cutting machine and the provided pattern.

10. Apply the vinyl to the pedestal front using transfer paper.

11. Remove the transfer paper.
