Create this impressive personalized tote bag for yourself or someone else with DecoArt® Personally Yours™ Stencils.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• scissors
• #12 flat brush
• #1 liner brush
• cosmetic sponges
• paper doily
• canvas tote bag

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Cutting out the center of one paper doily with scissors.

2. Place the paper doily centered on the tote to use as a stencil.

3. Load a cosmetic sponge with Soft Jade and dab it lightly around the doily. (Refer to photo for placement.) Use a #12 flat brush and Soft Jade to fill in the center circle. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.

4. Use a letter of your choice from the DecoArt Personally Yours Initial Impressions Sophisticated Stencil in the center of the circle. Load a new cosmetic sponge with Night Sky to fill in the letter. Let dry completely.

5. Placing the doily back where it was on the tote bag, use the same cosmetic sponge with Night Sky to lightly dab from the edge of the circle out, fading as you go out. Use a #1 liner brush and Night Sky to paint an outline around the Soft Jade circle. Rinse brush.
