- tape measure
- 1-1/2" flat brush
- saw
- chalk pencil
- chalk
- newspaper
- pegboard
- pegboard hooks
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Using a tape measure and pencil, measure and mark the desired size of the pegboard. Cut using a saw.
- Place the pegboard on newspaper or a tarp, so that any paint that drips through the holes is easy to clean up. Using a 1-1/2" flat brush, paint the pegboard In Grey Storm.
- Give the pegboard a second coat of Grey Storm, making sure it is completely covered.
- Paint the pegboard with two coats of Clear Chalkboard Coating. (You want to do one coat horizontally and one coat vertically, letting them dry for one hour in between coats.)
- Let the Clear Chalkboard Coating cure for 24 hours. Prep it by lightly rubbing a piece of chalk over it on its side, then wiping it clean. Add pegboard hooks, hang up kitchen utensils, and use a chalk marker to loosely doodle around them.
