  • Chartreuse (DA517)
  • Coastal Waters (DA523)
  • Cocoa Bean (DA535)
  • Pumpkin Patch (DA511)
  • School Bus (DA515)

Other supplies

  • water container
  • palette or plastic plate
  • paper towels
  • tracing paper
  • transfer paper
  • wax paper (or freezer paper)
  • #10 flat brush
  • cardboard (optional)
  • small white T-shirt (50% cotton/50% polyester) (Joanns) (Jerzee)
  • pen

NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. Put wax or freezer paper inside the shirt so the paint won't go through. (You can also put a piece of cardboard inside to make sturdy.)
    Step 0 Example
  2. Use a pen and tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer triangles only. Use a #10 flat brush and load separately with Pumpkin Patch, School Bus, Coastal Waters, and Chartreuse to fill in the triangle "tepees". Rinse brush between colors and at the end.
    Step 1 Example
  3. With a pen and the tracing and transfer papers, trace and transfer the rest of details and the sun. Use a #1 round brush and load separately with Chartreuse, Coastal Waters, School Bus, and Pumpkin Patch to paint the circles in the middle of the tepees, the sun, and the poles at the top of each tepee.
  4. Use the same brush and load with Cocoa Bean to add a face on sun and a letter (C-a-m-p) in each tepee.
