NOTE: Read all instructions completely before beginning the project.
Apply an even coat of Primer & Sealer to the wooden disc, on both sides, using the large brush. Allow to dry and sand with fine-grit sandpaper. On opposite sides of the disc, apply painter's tape in 1-1/4" from the edge.
Apply one coat of Peacock Teal to the center of the disc; allow to dry. On the second coat slip-slap Peacock Teal and Wedgewood Blue, using the 1” wash/glaze brush. Let dry and then apply the pattern.
Line the branch in Snow White, using the #0 liner brush. Using the #6 flat brush and starting at the branch, lightly pull out the needles in a mix of about equal parts of Snow White and water.
Using the wisp brush, thin Snow White with a little bit of water and pull in toward the branch. Pull in toward the branch with a little Snow White using the #6 shader brush.
Pull in a few strokes of Emperor’s Gold toward the branch. Repeat with Shimmering Silver.
Undercoat the smaller ornaments in two coats of Light Buttermilk.
Paint as follows: Base, True Red; shade, Cranberry Wine; and highlight with Carousel Pink. Base, Bahama Blue; shade, Peacock Teal; and highlight with a mix of equal parts Bahama Blue and Snow White. Base with a mix of equal parts of Spiced Pumpkin and Snow White; shade, Spiced Pumpkin; and highlight with Pineapple. Base, Irish Moss; shade, Evergreen; highlight, Pineapple plus a touch of Irish Moss. (Refer to photo.)
Using the wisp brush, pull a few strokes of Snow White randomly over the ornaments.
Do all of the Lamp Black accents with the #0 liner brush.
Remove the painter's tape.
Do the lettering and paint the sides and ¼” in on the top and bottom, all in Emperor’s Gold.
To finish: Spray with two coats of Triple Thick Spray following the directions on the can. Let dry. Adorn with rhinestones, beads, or metallic ribbon of choice.
