"Joy" Frame Gift Tag

Add this "joyful" tag to a BYOB of wine or other spirits as a one-of-a-kind hostess gift.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- stylus or pencil
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- scissors
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- #12 flat brush
- #1 liner brush
- ribbon to match
- #1 round brush
- wooden frame
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Remove the backing from the frame.
- Use a #12 flat brush to basecoat the backing Neutral Grey. Rinse brush. Use the same brush to basecoat the frame Santa Red. Rinse brush.
- Use a pencil or stylus and the tracing and transfer papers to transfer "JOY"with the snowflake pattern onto the center of the backing piece.
- Use a #1 liner brush and Calypso Blue to paint the snowflake. Rinse brush.
- Use a #1 round brush and Deep Midnight Blue to paint the letters that spell "JOY". Rinse brush.
- Use a pencil or stylus with the tracing and transfer papers to transfer the chevron pattern onto the frame.
- Use a #1 liner brush and load separately with Calypso Blue, Oyster Beige, and Deep Midnight Blue to paint alternating chevron stripes. Rinse brush between colors and at the end.
- Once all is dry, place the backing back into the frame. Measure ribbon of your choice and cut to fit the tag.
- Use a hot glue gun to attach the ribbon to the back of frame tag and let dry completely.
