Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics

  • Black Tie (DA539)

Other supplies

  • palette or plastic plate
  • paper towels
  • rubbing alcohol
  • scissors
  • tape
  • computer and printer
  • set of wine glasses
  • #10/0 liner brush (Americana Basic Glass Brush Set - DABK11)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Clean the wine glasses with rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Let dry completely.
  2. Print out an initial in a favorite font. (We used "Great Vibes".)
  3. Tape the initial print-out inside the wine glass so that the letter is showing through the front of the glass.
  4. Dip the #10/0 liner brush in a small amount of Black Tie and trace the initial on the outside of the glass.
  5. Let dry completely.
  6. Follow the label instructions for bake times to make the glasses dishwasher safe.

HELPFUL HINTS

Remember when painting on wine glasses to keep the design and paint at least 1" below lip of the glass.
