INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Apply White Gesso to the chipboard surface and allow to dry. Use a flat brush and Soft Jade to paint a spiral going from the outside of the circle into the center. Use Deep Turquoise to make small lines along that spiral. Start a second spiral with Deep Turquoise from the center to the outside of the circle, leaving some of the area still unpainted. Use Titanium White on the unpainted area.
- Add dots of Soft Jade on the Deep Turquoise spiral. Paint in every other square with Deep Turquoise. Add a whitewash highlight in the center of the circle. (Make a whitewash by blending equal amounts of Titanium White and water.)
- Transfer the provided quote onto the canvas with transfer paper. Use a small brush dipped in Carbon Black to paint the quote; write the word "impossible" in the white areas several times; and draw small open circles.
