Fun and Frosty Igloo

You and the kids can build an igloo indoors from a Styrofoam ball, Snow-Tex, and Glamour Dust.

Glamour Dust™ Sprinkle-On Glitter

  • Crystal (DAS37)

Snow Products

  • Snow-Tex® (DAS9)

Other supplies

  • water container
  • paper towels
  • pencil
  • toothpicks
  • craft knife
  • 5" Styrofoam ball
  • fan brush or craft stick


NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. Adult will need to cut and remove 1/3 of ball. Small section can be cut from that piece for entrance. Use fingers to press Styrofoam entrance into U shape.
  2. Use pencil or brush handle end to score block shapes around entire igloo.
  3. Break toothpick in half. Push halves partially into entrance piece. Position and press into igloo to secure.
  4. Use fan brush to apply Snow-Tex over entire igloo.
  5. While Snow-Tex is wet, sprinkle with Glamour Dust Crystal.


If scored lines are filled in when applying Snow-Tex, let dry and press brush handle or craft stick into "snow" to restore lines.
