Candy Cane Hot Chocolate Irish Coffee Mug

Decorate your glass to match your favorite holiday beverage.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- stencil brush
- tracing & transfer paper
- 3/8" flat brush
- 1/8" flat brush
- pen or pencil
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Start with a plain glass cup any style you want and clean with Rubbing Alcohol and paper towels.
- Use a cosmetic sponge to apply Indian Turquoise avoiding the handle and staying below the rim. Let dry completely.Then go over again using the 3/8" Flat glass painting brush to get the glossy sheen back. Rinse brush.
- Use a 1/8" Flat glass painting brush and load with White to paint bottom rim. Rinse brush. Then use a stencil brush and load with white to pounce on to make a whipped cream look on top. Rinse brush. Be careful to not get too close to the top of the glass you do not want your lips to touch the paint.
- Use the 1/8" Flat glass painting brush and load with Tuscan Red to paint the stem. Rinse brush.
- Use 1" Round glass painting brush to add peppermint crumbs using Baby Pink and Tuscan Red separately and rinse brushes between steps and at end.
- Use 1/8" Flat glass painting brush and the 10/0 Liner glass painting brush to add peppermint swirls on bottom rim. Rinse brushes.
- Use pen and tracing and transfer paper to apply pattern to front of glass.
- Then use the 10/0 Liner glass painting brush and load with Dark Chocolate to paint the words on and stars. Rinse brush.
- Then use 1" Round Glass painting brush to mix (1) part Dark Chocolate with a small amount of water and stir well. Then drip it over the handle to look like chocolate sauce. Rinse brush.
