    Step 0 Example
  2. Use a ruler and pencil to mark 2" horizontal stripes along the canvas. Apply painter's tape to areas that will remain Cotton Ball. (Be sure to wrap the tape along the edge as well.)
    Step 1 Example
  3. Use a 1" flat brush to paint the untaped areas in Black Tie.
    Step 2 Example
  4. Tape off a 11" x 16" square in the center of the canvas. Paint in Kelly Green using a 1" flat brush. Do not remove the tape.
    Step 3 Example
  5. Using a clean cloth, apply Elegant Emerald to the edges of the Kelly Green area, letting the Elegant Emerald fade out toward the center. Buff the square to the desired sheen.
    Step 4 Example
  6. Paint the laser-cut snowflakes True Red.
    Step 5 Example
  7. Use a clean cloth to apply Radiant Red to the snowflakes. Buff to desired sheen.
    Step 6 Example
  8. Lay out on the canvas where the snowflakes will be placed. Position "H" to the left of each shape. Use tracing and transfer papers to transfer the letter three times vertically.
    Step 7 Example
  9. Paint the letters in True Red.
    Step 8 Example
  10. Apply Radiant Red to the letters with a clean cloth and buff to desired sheen. Trace the wooden snowflakes and paint the traced area Cotton Ball. (Be sure to paint slightly smaller than the traced portion so Cotton Ball will not show on the outside of the wooden snowflake.)
    Step 9 Example
  11. Use E6000 glue to adhere the snowflakes to the canvas according to the package instructions.
    Step 10 Example
