INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Allowing your paint to fully dry prior to adding the vinyl is really important. A key to getting nice clean lines is to use the same color under the vinyl over the top before painting the final top color.
- The finished product is a reversed stencil Halloween sign. To get started, first cut your vinyl using the provided cut file.
- While you are cutting your vinyl, paint stripes on your canvas using Halloween inspired colors.
- While your canvas was drying, weed out the negative areas of your vinyl saying.
- Adhere your cut vinyl to your canvas using transfer tape. You want to make sure the colors are fully dry before transferring your lettering.
- paint the top of your vinyl letters and canvas with White Birch. Let dry, and apply a second coat of paint if needed.
- When the paint is dry, carefully remove the vinyl lettering. This will allow the Halloween colors below to show through.
- Peel letters back slowly, using a craft knife to help any areas that stick. Throw away the peeled back vinyl, and enjoy your spooky sign!
