Halloween Drink Markers

Halloween Drink Markers

I am just so excited that Halloween is on it’s way! Next to Christmas, it is one of my favorite holidays to create for. It probably doesn’t hurt that my daughter was born on Halloween, so now I have an excuse every year to go all out for the holiday and throw a themed party. And these DIY drink markers are the perfect way to keep everyone’s cups straight at your next Halloween party. Better than their function and pure cuteness (yes, Halloween can be cute!), they cost next to nothing to make! So whip out your DecoArt Americana Multi Surface paint and your hot glue gun and let’s get crafting!

Items Needed:

  • Hot Glue Gun And Hot Glue Sticks
  • Paint Brushes
  • Parchment Paper
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Removable Glue Dots

Instructions:

Gather your supplies.

Begin by tracing or drawing your halloween images on your parchment paper. Then use your glue gun to trace your lines and create a hot glue shape. If you don’t feel comfortable with this step, then you can also use a Halloween shaped silicone mold from the craft store to make your shapes instead, just make sure that they aren’t very thick. You will likely only need to fill the mold 1/4” full.

Once you have all your shapes made and the glue as hardened, use your scissors to trim them up as needed and remove any excess glue strings.

Then give them 2-3 coats of Deco Art Americana Multi Surface paint. Letting each coat dry in between.

The last step is to use a removable glue dot to adhere the cute Halloween shapes to each of your guests glasses. Just make sure not to make any two pieces the same color and shape or else that will get confusing!
