Use Americana Decor Chalky Finish paint to create a trendy tray with a grain sack stripe design.

SUPPLIES

• sandpaper
• 1-1/2" flat brush
• petroleum jelly
• painter's or masking tape
• wooden tray

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Use 1-1/2" brush to paint entire tray Relic.

2. Use your finger or a cotton swab to randomly apply petroleum wherever you don't want the top coat color to adhere.

3. Use 1-1/2" brush to paint entire tray Everlasting.

4. When entirely dry, use sandpaper to distress the tray inside, sides and edges.

5. Use tape to mask off stripes as desired. Use brush and Legacy to fill in stripes. Remove tape.

6. Use sandpaper to lightly distress stripes. Remove dust

7. Seal with finish of your choice. Apply Clear Wax and buff to a satin sheen or brush on one of our Chalky Finish Varnishes.
