Add a pop of color and style to these pop culture graffiti shoes, made with DecoArt® Stylin™.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• painter's or masking tape
• shoes
• paintbrushes

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Remove the laces and tape off portions of the shoes that will not be painted. Use Purple and Turquoise to paint the background of the shoe. (Start with Turquoise in the front, gradually adding Purple to the Turquoise and eventually only using Purple toward the back.) Mix (1) part White with (2) parts Purple and use to paint the very back of the shoe.

2. Paint the logo in Yellow. Paint dots starting in the back of the shoe. Use a color that will contrast. (For example, Purple over the blended Purple and White.) Mix (1) part Turquoise with (1) part Purple to paint dots over the darker Purple portions.

3. Working toward the front of the shoes, paint the dots using more Turquoise and less Purple, gradually adding more and more White instead.

4. Return the laces and remove the tape.
