Remove the laces from the shoes and tape off sections of the shoes that do not require paint.
Mix (4) parts Green with (1) part Blue to create the background. Paint both sides with this color. Blue can be used to shade the edges and use Yellow for highlights in the middle.
Use the pattern to paint the eggs. Paint the eggs in Yellow, adding White and Orange to shade and accent. Use Black to outline the eggs with loose lines. Paint the chick in Fuchsia using Blue and Purple to accent and shade. Paint the chick's boots Blue. Paint the crown; signs ("cheap" and "help"); and worm in Orange, highlighting with Yellow and outlining with Black.
On the toe of the shoe, paint two signs ("haves" and "have nots") using Orange with Yellow highlights and Black to outline.
