Goldfish Swimming in the Ocean Crate

Create a goldfish design on an otherwise plain wooden crate with Americana Decor® Chalky Finish™ paint.
SUPPLIES
- pencil
- painter's tape
- 1" flat brush
- #8 round brush
- wooden crate
- cosmetic sponge
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Using a 1" flat brush, paint the inside and three sides of the crate in Heritage.
- Using a 1" flat brush, paint the remaining side in Escape. Place the Fish Tail Stencil on the surface and hold in place (or use painter's tape if desired). Dab on Serene with a cosmetic sponge.
- Use a pencil to outline the goldfish pattern. Use a #8 flat brush to paint it solid in Inheritance. Use a #8 round brush to outline and add scales in Heritage. Use a #8 round brush to add highlights in white and for eyes. Use a #8 round brush to add a dot in the eyes in Escape. (Refer to photo)
