Gobble 'Til You Wobble Tray

Make light of serving that Thanksgiving turkey on this tray made in bountiful Americana® Acrylics color.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- pencil
- #3 round brush
- 3/4" flat brush
- #6 flat brush
- fine point permanent marker
- wooden tray
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Allow to dry between painting steps.
- Use a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the design, excluding the words, on the inside of the tray.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the background Foliage Green.
- Use the same brush to paint the word box True Red.
- Use the #6 flat brush to paint the turkey head Milk Chocolate; eyes, Snow White; and the tail, True Red, Pineapple, Asphaltum, and Marigold.
- With a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers, trace and transfer the words in the True Red box.
- Use the #3 round brush to basecoat all the words Snow White. Let dry completely.
- Use the same brush with Marigold to paint the words "Gobble" and "Wobble".
- Use the same brush with Pineapple to paint the words "till you" and also to highlight "Gobble" and 'Wobble".
- Use the same brush to paint the turkey's beak Marigold; waddle, True Red; and iris, Lamp Black.
- Use the handle end of a 3/4" flat brush to make Pineapple dots all over the background.
- Use the same brush to paint the inside of the tray Marigold and outside of the tray, True Red.
- Use a black fine-point permanent marker to outline the words "Gobble" and "Wobble".
