Global style stenciled keepsake box

A wooden keepsake box takes on a global flair with stencils.
SUPPLIES
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- wooden box
- 1" flat brush
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- hand drill
- cosmetic sponge
- decorative knob
- assorted drill bits
- 4 wooden ball feet
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Paint the entire box Steel Grey using the 1" flat brush.
- Decide on the placement of the Jaipur Damask Accent stencil and apply it with the cosmetic sponge and Coastal Waters. (I applied it in five places.)
- Using the Aztec Mixed Media Stencil and White Birch, stencil on the triangles using the cosmetic sponge.
- Stencil on the dots using Muted Gold, the polka dot stencil, and the cosmetic sponge.
- Drill a hole in the center of the box lid, using whichever drill bit will give you the proper-sized hole. Attach the decorative knob.
- Paint the ball feet with the 1" flat brush and Steel Grey. Let dry and hot glue the feet to bottom of the box.
