  • painter's tape (optional)
  • globe (small)
  • 1/2" rake brush


  1. Make sure the globe surface is clean and dry. Tape off the globe stand, or remove the globe from the stand and set aside.
  2. Think of the globe in six equal, vertical sections. Paint each section a different color following this order: True Red, Canyon Orange, Bright Yellow, Festive Green, True Blue, and Lavender.
  3. Blend each Americana Acrylic color into the next while the paint is still wet to create an ombre effect. Allow all to dry.
  4. Apply the Galaxy Glitter over their respective basecoat colors in the following order: Red Nebula, Solar Flare Orange, Gold Shooting Star, Extraterrestrial Green, Milky Way Blue, and Purple Eclipse. Blend each Galaxy Glitter color into the next while the glitter is still wet to create an ombre effect. Let dry completely.
  5. Apply a second coat of Galaxy Glitter to each section, remembering to blend them as you go. Let dry completely. Remove the tape from the stand, or return the globe to the stand.
