- Irish Moss (DA312)
- Pineapple (DAO6)
- Sea Breeze (DA256)
- Slate Grey (DAO68)
- Spiced Pumpkin (DA310)
- Terra Cotta (DAO62)
Other supplies
- water container
- paper towels
- stylus or pencil
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- #2 round brush
- #8 flat brush
- #12 flat brush
- wooden plaque with attached jute (A.C. Moore)
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a #12 flat brush to basecoat the inner frame of the plaque with Slate Grey. Rinse brush.
- Use the same brush to mix (1) part Snow White with (1) part Terra Cotta. Use this mix to paint the frame and sides. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
- Use a pencil or stylus and the tracing and transfer papers to transfer the pattern onto the inner frame.
- Use a #2 round brush and Spiced Pumpkin to paint on the words. Rinse brush.
- Use the same brush and Sea Breeze to paint the stem and leaves. Rinse brush.
- Use the handle end of a #2 round brush dipped in Pineapple to add dots around the leaves and stems. Wipe off the handle.
- Use a #8 flat brush and load separately with Sea Breeze, Spiced Pumpkin, Terra Cotta, Irish Moss, and Pineapple to paint diagonal stripes across the frame. Rinse the brush between colors and at the end.
