Girly Pink Pixelated Box

Give a papier mâché box a computerized yet feminine touch with Americana® Stencils.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- pencil
- 1" chip brush
- 1" flat brush
- liner brush
- 3/4" flat brush
- #8 round brush
- cosmetic sponge
- scrapbook paper
- papier mâché box
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix (1) part Primary Magenta with (1) part Titanium White. Use a 1" flat brush to paint the entire box. Save mix for next step. Use a 1" chip brush to dry-brush the box in Titanium White, both vertically and horizontally.
- Place the Americana Short Circuit Stencil on the box and use a cosmetic sponge to dab on Dark Grey Value 3. Tear a piece of scrapbook paper for the girl's dress. Use a 3/4" flat brush to adhere it into place with Matte Medium. (Refer to photo of placement.)
- Trace the girl pattern with a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers. Use a #8 round brush to paint the face and legs in the mix from step 1. Use a #8 round brush to paint the eyes in Titanium White, Cadmium Orange Hue, Transparent Yellow Iron Oxide, and Burnt Umber.
- Use a #8 round brush to paint the mouth in Primary Magenta. Use a #8 round brush to paint the hair in Cadmium Orange Hue; highlight with Titanium White. Use a #8 round brush to paint the socks and shoes with Dark Grey Value 3 and Titanium White. Use a #8 round brush to paint the bear in Transparent Yellow Iron Oxide and a liner brush to add details to the bear in Dark Grey Value 3.
