Thoroughly wash and dry the metal container. Be sure it is completely dry before using.
Using painter's tape, divide each side into two sections, roughly in the middle. Alternate painting the sections in New Life and Escape using a 1" flat brush. Paint the rim and center stripe of the container in Heritage.
Tape the Americana Decor French Inn Stencil to one side of the container. Using a stencil brush, apply Carbon to the stencil. While the paint is still wet, gently remove the stencil.
Paint the rims of two terra cotta pots in Heritage. Paint the bottom of each of the pots in Escape and New Life. Let dry. Once dry, position the Americana Decor Olde World Numbers Stencil on each of the pots. Using a stencil brush, apply Carbon to the stencil. While the paint is still wet, gently remove the stencil. Let dry.
After the metal container has dried, apply a coat of DuraClear Matte Varnish to the painted areas. Once the pots have dried, apply a coat of DuraClear Matte Varnish to the inside and outside of each pot.
