Outdoor-Themed Garden Tool Box

Watch your garden grow colorfully with this garden tool box with stenciled designs.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- sandpaper
- scissors
- 1" flat brush
- X-Acto® knife
- 1" foam brush
- 1" pouncer
- low-tack spray adhesive
- garden box
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Wipe down the garden box with a damp paper towel.
- Use 1" flat brush and Cameo to basecoat the entire box. Rinse brush.
- Use a 1" foam brush and Treasure to paint the inside sections. Rinse brush.
- Use sandpaper to sand the entire box.
- Print off the pattern to fit the side of the box.
- With an X-Acto knife, cut out the shapes. Put the small interior pieces of the birdhouse and watering can aside to be replaced later.
- Use a low-tack spray adhesive to spray the back of pattern and the set-aside pieces. Let dry until tacky and position on box.
- Use a 1" round pouncer and load separately with Inheritance, Escape, Heirloom, New Life, Vintage, and Timeless to fill in the shapes. Rinse in between colors and at end. Remove pattern.
- Use sandpaper to sand over the painted elements in the same direction as the wood grain. Wipe down with a damp paper towel.
- Use a 1" flat brush to apply Light Satin Varnish over the entire box. Rinse brush.
