Save money by creating your own personalized galaxy print shoes using SoSoft.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• painter's tape
• #3 round brush
• sea sponge
• black canvas shoes

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Hand wash shoes according to SoSoft packaging label.

2. Use painter's tape to tape off the rubber sole of the shoe.

3. Run a sea sponge under the faucet until completely wet and soft. Squeeze until all excess moisture is out of sponge. Load sea sponge in two different areas with both Ultra White and Baby Pink Deep. Begin carving out the areas on the shoes you would like to be the brightest areas. Also include lighter areas throughout the shoes. Clean sponge.

4. Load the sponge with Dark Rose, Dioxazine Purple, and Navy Blue (in separate areas of the sponge). Begin adding colors next to the highlighted areas and blend into the black fabric. Clean sponge.

5. After the shoes have dried a little, go back and highlight the colors. Use Silver Platinum to highlight the brightest areas. Use Mediterranean Blue and Dark Burgundy to highlight the mid-tones.

6. Water down some Ultra White on a pallet. Using a #3 round brush, flick the paint onto the shoes to create stars. If the white is not bright enough, go back in with solid Ultra White to brighten. Remove tape.

7. Allow shoes to completely dry according to SoSoft packaging instructions before wearing.
