Game Night with Friends Candy Box

Use old game pieces and DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics to create a fun game night candy box.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • scissors
    • 1" flat brush
    • 1/4" flat brush
    • black ink pad
    • unfinished wooden tray
    • embellishments of choice
    • stamp of choice
    • paint chips
    • papier mâché house

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use a damp paper towel to remove any dust from the house surface.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint each of the sides and roof of the surface with Cerulean Blue, Titanium White, Quinacridone Magenta, Hansa Yellow Medium, and Carbon Black.

    5. Select paint chips to match the paints.

    7. Stamp images and quotes of choice onto the paint chips. Trim the paint chips to fit onto the house.

    9. Position and adhere the stamped images onto the house using Americana Matte Decou-Page. Apply another layer of Decou-Page on top.

    11. Add embellishments of choice (such as cards, ribbon, quotes) using Decou-Page.

    13. Apply Liquid Glass on the selected embellishments. Let paint dry completely on a flat surface.

    15. Use Quinacridone Magenta to paint the wooden lettering trays.

    17. Adhere old playing cards of choice onto the surface with Decou-Page.
