Funky Flower Garden Tote

Funky flowers add interest and color to a wooden planter, in the style of an old-fashioned tool box.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- stylus or pencil
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- 1" flat brush
- #1 round brush
- wooden planter
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a 1" flat brush to basecoat each section of the wooden planter a different color, loading the brush separately using Blue Bird, Apple Green, Coastal Waters, and Lavender Fields. Rinse the brush between steps and at the end.
- Use a pencil or stylus and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the floral pattern to the front of the planter.
- Use a #1 round brush and Chartreuse to basecoat all leaves and certain flower centers. Rinse brush. While they are still wet, shade areas of both with Apple Green. Rinse brush.
- Use a #1 round brush and load separately using Shrimp, Poppy, Lavender Fields, Soft Jade, Lipstick, and Black Tie and then create a few mixes of your own to add more detail. Rinse the brush between steps and at the end.
