Add a fruity flair to your summer decorations using Americana Decor® Chalky Finish™ paint.

SUPPLIES

• paper towels
• sandpaper
• flat brush
• cosmetic sponge
• Silhouette electronic cutting machine
• wooden arrow

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. If the wooden arrow surface is rough, lightly sand.

2. Paint the entire arrow in white.

3. Cut out the vinyl stencil on a Silhouette electronic cutting machine. Apply the "Summer" vinyl.

4. Paint the inside of "Summer" in black. Remove the stencil while the paint is still wet.

5. Apply the citrus stencils randomly on the arrow. Paint the citruses green, pink, orange, and yellow as desired. Remove the stencils.

6. Apply the popsicle stencils randomly until you get the look you like. Paint the popsicles in orange, green, and pink. Paint the handles brown. Let dry.

7. Once dry, lightly sand the entire face of the sign to create a distressed look.

8. Apply a small amount of brown antiquing cream onto the sign and move around the sign using a damp paper towel. Wipe off excess glaze until you get the desired distressing.

9. Seal using a spray finish for added protection outdoors.
