Friendly Frog Egg

Paint an egg into a friendly frog in the high-jumping colors of Americana® Gloss Enamels™.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • tracing paper
    • transfer paper
    • scissors
    • pencil
    • 1" flat brush
    • #0 liner brush
    • glue
    • stencil brush
    • Fun Foam sheet
    • sponge pouncer
    • wiggle eyes
    • Styrofoam egg
    • Styrofoam ball

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use a 1" flat brush to paint the Styrofoam egg Festive Green, leaving an oval for the tummy unpainted.
    2. Paint the Styrofoam balls Festive Green, leaving an area for the wiggle eyes unpainted. (Refer to photo for placement.)
    3. Use a round sponge pouncer and Citron Green to stamp polka dots on the frog body.
    4. Use a #0 liner brush and Black to paint the mouth.
    5. Using the tracing & transfer papers and a pencil, trace and transfer two leg patterns onto green fun foam. Cut out the legs with scissors.
    6. Assembly: Press the unpainted section of each Styrofoam ball onto a hard surface to flatten slightly. Position and adhere the Styrofoam balls on top of egg for eyes. Position and adhere the wiggle eyes on the flattened areas. Position and adhere the legs on the sides.
