    2. Instruction #1
    3. Using Bittersweet and the 1/2" flat brush and script, dry brush on Bittersweet (as shown) to create a bark texture on the outside of the can.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Transfer provided template (outline of bears, trees, and window) onto the container using transfer paper. Cut out the window with a craft knife. Trim off any torn or ragged edges as much as possible.
    6. Using a #3 and #5 round brushes, basecoat the trees and holly in Green Beret. For the bears, basecoat in Cocoa Bean.
    7. Instruction #4
    8. Line up and transfer details of bear and trees onto surface with transfer paper.
    9. Using the #3 and #5 round brushes, paint the face, tummy, and toes in White Birch. Paint the highlights on the trees in Soft Jade.
    10. Instruction #6
    11. Using a liner brush, paint in the facial details of the bears in Bittersweet. Paint the mouth of the bear and the berries in Red Barn. Let dry. Add highlights onto the eyes, nose, and berries in White Birch.
    12. Instruction #7
    13. Cut a piece of plastic approximately 1" larger in length and diameter than the window. Apply craft glue onto the outer edge of the plastic and carefully place inside the container, smoothing out to fit the window.
    14. Paint both sides of a tag (made from craft paper) in White Birch, then add Bittersweet markings with a liner brush. Once dried, fold in half and glue string down the center inside. Write the message inside, then roll the edges with a pencil. Tuck the end of the string under the cap.
    15. For the base, create a "tube" using a pencil by rolling a piece of craft paper that is the same length as the container. Keep the paper loose enough to still be able to slide it back off the pencil, secure the end with craft glue. Paint the tube with White Birch and paint Bittersweet lines once dried. Make two of these. Adhere to the bottom of the can to keep the can from rolling.
