SUPPLIES

• paper towels
• small brush
• medium flat brush
• glass vases

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Vases can be baked for permanence

1. Use a medium flat brush to paint the vases in Mint, Light Yellow, Red, and Navy. Let dry and apply a second coat. Let dry completely.

2. Use a small brush to free-hand stars on the Red vase. (Keep the shape of the stars loose for a modern look.) Let dry.

3. Add about 20% water to the White paint and mix well. Load a brush and press it down directly on the vase at the bottom tips of the stars, allowing the paint to stream down the vase. Wipe the bottom with a paper towel and let dry.

4. Use the same technique as in Step Three, this time pressing the brush down at the tops of the vases. Use Navy for the Yellow and Mint vases and White for the Navy vase.

5. Let dry: This is what they will look like all together once complete.
