SUPPLIES

Americana® Acrylics

  • Baby Blue (DAO42)
  • Burnt Umber (DAO64)
  • Primary Red (DA199)
  • Snow (Titanium) White (DAO1)

DecoArt® Glass Paint Marker™

  • Black (DGPM14)

Other supplies

  • stylus or pencil
  • tracing & transfer paper
  • wooden plaque
  • small flat brush
  • medium flat brush

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Make white wash by mixing 1/3 water with 2/3 Snow White. Mix well. Apply to the plaque with a medium flat brush.

  2. Use a medium flat brush to make horizontal stripes in Baby Blue. (Or choose another brush the same width as you'd like the stripes.)

  3. Transfer the provided pattern to the plaque. Use a medium flat brush to paint the house in Snow White and the roof in Primary Red. Let dry.

  4. Use a small flat brush to paint the window in Snow White and the door in Primary Red. Let dry.

  5. Make an antique wash by mixing 1/3 water with 2/3 Burnt Umber. Mix well. Apply to the plaque sparingly with a medium flat brush. Let dry. Use a Black Glass Paint Marker to write the quote.
