NOTE: This serving tray is a perfect DIY home décor craft! By using fluid acrylic paint, you can create this unique look.

  1. All you need is an unfinished wooden tray, some Writer Tips, and DecoArt Fluid Art Ready to Pour Paints. Sand the tray to prep for painting.

  2. Print out the provided patterns or draw your own. Cut out the leaf templates and trace onto the tray with a light colored pencil.

  3. Add a Writer Tip to the bottle of Emerald Green and use to trace the outline of the monstera leaves and fill in some areas of each leaf.

  4. Add Tropical Blue to some areas of the leaves.

  5. Add Dark Aquamarine to the leaves. As you are adding each color, use the writer tip to swirl the paint colors together.

  6. Add Chartreuse into the remaining areas of the leaves, swirling the paint colors inside each leaf.

  7. Fill in the holes and the entire background with Pink. Allow to dry flat.

  8. For a finished look, paint the edges of the wooden tray with two coats of 24K Gold using a flat brush.

  9. This bright and festive painted tray is a great option for a homemade gift, home décor piece, or a serving tray. (Just paint on a coat of your favorite varnish to make it waterproof.)
